Motor Sports: Area Bands Rock Thunder Valley At April 30 Street Fights The regions fastest street cars and motorcycles will not be the only things to keep Thunder Valley rocking at the Fas Mart Street Fights event on Thursday, April 30.
The regions fastest street cars and motorcycles will not be the only things to keep Thunder Valley rocking at the Fas Mart Street Fights event on Thursday, April 30.
While the cars and bikes heat up the strip, three of the region's best bands will be performing during "Local and Loud Night." Adire and Contact the Militia, both from Johnson City, along with Elizabethton's Seven Day Journey will be on stage laying down the hottest tracks from their latest releases.
Spectators will want to arrive early and get a good seat, because with these bands on the ticket, the house is sure to be packed.
Also on Thursday, the Fas Mart Power Hour and Kingsport Cycles Baddest Bike return to Thunder Valley for another evening of lightning-fast, heads-up racing.
The fastest vehicles of the night will be called to the lanes to participate during Power Hour. The quickest motorcycles will clash in Baddest Bike.
A fast ride is not a requirement to race, however. Anyone can tackle Thunder Valley in their own street-legal machine.
Gates open Thursday at 5 p.m. with action slated to begin at 6 p.m.
Spectator admission is $5, while anyone can challenge the strip for only $10.
